About Me

K.C. Brennan is a former geologist, avid reader of mystery novels, and a bit of a history junkie. From a young age, she was a huge fan of Agatha Christie stories, then moving on to various authors such as MC Beaton, G.K.Chesterton, and Dorothy Sayers. She also has a love and appreciation for historical fiction and the mysteries hidden and suppressed over the ages. All this has combined to inspire her to create mystery stories with strong intelligent women who are endlessly curious, determined, and sometimes a little too interfering for their own good. Combine that with her love of quirky, honest, and humorous supporting characters and you have the basis of her Mila K. Mystery series. 

K.C. Brennan aims to write stories that entertain and take her readers on a brief adventure to another town, perhaps not unlike their own.  With a cast of quirky, but likeable characters, a puzzling mystery that needs to be solved, some humour and perhaps a flutter of romance.
